ABOUT JOHN DEWITT
shift in perspective that is rapidly changing the way we live and
view the world. He currently teaches writing and persuasive
communication to professionals as well as private individuals and
motivated students of all ages in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For over twenty-five years he has studied, researched, and applied
both contemporary and classical approaches to attitude formation
and change, communication effectiveness, and persuasion. As a
co-founder of Nevada's first full time trial consulting firm in 1987, he
pioneered the use of social science in the courtroom, and gained
an in depth, practical knowledge of the way a multitude of factors
interact in the decision making process. His emphasis on creating
mind friendly jury presentations is now easily translated to projects
requiring mind friendly persuasive communications in a wide range
of business, creative, and personal contexts.
John DeWitt's work also reflects a lifetime of study and experience
in psychology, wisdom traditions, and personal development
strategies. And while his education includes a Ph.D. in psychology,
clients and students also benefit from knowledge of a more profound
nature. Realizing that inner experience is, if anything, more important
than academic knowledge he was drawn to the study of meditation,
transformational psychology and a wide range of non-dualistic
philosophical traditions from an early age. As a teacher, he
inspires a simple, profound realization of the brilliant nature of
our existence as humans. Today he's motivated by a single
purpose.... to share that experience with others and to be an
effective agent of change for as many people as possible.
